Weekend in Des Moines

This past weekend we went to visit Jeff and Lori and their two little guys Ty and Will. We had so much fun! Friday night the older boys went to the Monster Truck races, which they loved. Brody was a little scared of a transformer guy that came out shooting but other than that he loved it! Followed by a fun filled Saturday - science museum and incredible pizza. At the science museum the kids did tons of different activities, raced cars, bubbles, and shot paper rockets. Incredible Pizza is like a casino for kids, pizza, ice cream, go carts, bowling, mini golf, and arcade games all at the same place! At both places the dads had equal amounts of fun! The kids got along great and Brody was so sad to leave! The drive only took about 3.5 hrs which was awesome!!

5 Months

I can't believe Sophie is 5 months, seriously time goes by so fast! I just took her to get weighed today and she is 13lbs 9.5oz! We just started giving her cereal this week. She now rolls over both ways - which is awesome except we need to make sure we keep everything off the floor. She is very curious and seems to easily find the things we don't want her to have. She loves watching Brody play and I can't wait for them to play together!

Christmas was fabulous! We had so much fun spending time with our families, it goes too fast! I don't have very many pictures yet (we are terrible at remembering to take pics so I have to round them up from others!) but here are a few.

Thanksgiving

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving break. We were able to go to both Worthington and Bonesteel plus stop at Yankton on our way home. It was great to spend time with family!

Halloween

Time Flies! I can't believe how fast time goes! It's 2012 and I need to catch up! For Halloween Brody really wanted to be a race car driver! He had such a blast trick or treating with his friends Drew and Parker! Sophie's costume didn't turn out so great, it was my attempt at her being candy corn :)
